Energy Bars

  • 1/2 block butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups rice krispies
  • 1 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds

Heat margarine, peanut butter, and marshmallows in a double boiler. In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, Rice Krispies, raisins, peanuts and sunflower seeds. Mix all together real fast until sticky. Spread and press down into lightly buttered 9×13 pan. Cool and cut into bars. Wrap individually with waxed paper.

Hint: For larger bars double the recipe and add into a 9×13 pan.
