Konohiki Style Shrimp

Ingredients

  • For one (1) pound of shrimp that has been peeled, deveined and butterflied
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 thumb grated ginger
  • 4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • ½ teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic – minced
  • Toss the above with the shrimp and marinade overnight.

Using canola oil, fry the shrimps after coating with the following: 1 cup flour, 2 teaspoons salt and 2 teaspoons pepper.
