Konohiki Style Shrimp
Ingredients
- For one (1) pound of shrimp that has been peeled, deveined and butterflied
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 thumb grated ginger
- 4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- ½ teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic – minced
- Toss the above with the shrimp and marinade overnight.
Using canola oil, fry the shrimps after coating with the following: 1 cup flour, 2 teaspoons salt and 2 teaspoons pepper.
